The International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste (IDAFLW) will be observed for the fourth time on 29 September 2023. The IDAFLW serves as a clear call to action for public and private entities to take action to reduce food loss and waste (FLW) and move towards transforming agrifood systems to contribute to the achievement of the 2030 agenda. Let’s Save Food from Waste! for People and the Planet.
The official celebrations will take place from 3:45 to 6:00pm CEST, virtually and at the FAO HQ in Rome, Italy. Register for virtual participation.
